|Back during the big golf course boom of the 1990s, when every year seemed to bring a new upscale daily fee course to the Jersey Shore, Blue Heron Pines seemed at times to get forgotten amid all the glitz and glitter.|
Blue Heron Pines, if you don’t recall, was the first of the first-rate publics at the Shore, dating back to in 1993. But as more and more premier courses joined the Shore lineup, the original felt a little, well, tame by comparison.
