East Course From Center City Philadelphia - Take Route 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) to City Line Avenue (Route 1). Turn right (South) on City Line Avenue and proceed about 3.3 miles to Haverford Road. Turn right on Haverford Road and go about 2.7 miles to Ardmore Avenue. Turn left on Ardmore Avenue. The Club entrance will be on your right (about 200 years) just after going over the railroad tracks.

East Course From New York, New Jersey, etc. - Take the PA Turnpike (Rt. 276) West to Exit 20 (Rt 476 - heading to Chester). Proceed South on 476 about 6+ miles to Exit 13 (Rt. 30 - Villanova, St. Davids). Turn right (East) on Rt. 30 to Ardmore Ave. (about 3 1/2 miles). Turn right onto Ardmore Ave. and proceed about 1.1 miles to the Club entrance on the right, just after the bridge over the railroad tracks.

East Course From Wilmington, DE - Baltimore, MD etc. - (A) North on I-95 to Route 476. North on 476 (heading toward Plymouth Meeting) to Exit 13 (Rt. 30 - Villanova, St. Davids). Turn right (East) on Rt. 30. Proceed about 3 1/2 miles to Ardmore Ave. Turn right on Ardmore Ave. and go about 1.1 miles to the Club entrance on the right, just after the bridge over the railroad tracks. OR (B) North on I-95 to Route 476. North on 476 (heading toward Plymouth Meeting) to Exit 9 (Rt. 3). Turn right on Rt. 3 and get in the left lane. At the second light, turn left on to Lawrence Road and get in the right lane. Turn left at the second road (Ellis Road). Stay on Ellis Road until you come to a "T". Then turn left on to Ardmore Ave. Proceed about 1 1/4 miles to the Club entrance on the left. (NOTE: "A" is easier to follow, but "B" is about 5 miles and 10 minutes shorter.)

East Course From the Philadelphia Airport - Take I-95 South to Route 476. Bear right on Route 476, heading to Plymouth Meeting. Then follow directions (A) or (B) above.

West Course From New York, New Jersey, etc. - (A) Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Rt. 276) West to Exit 25A (Route 476 – heading to Chester.) Proceed South on 476 about 9 miles to Exit 9 (Broomall/Route 3). Turn left on Rt. 3 and get in the left lane. At the third light, turn left on to Lawrence Road and get in the right lane. Turn left at the second road (Ellis Road). Stay on Ellis Road until you see the parking lot to the West Course on the left.

West Course From Wilmington, DE – Baltimore, MD etc. - (B) North on I-95 to route 476. North on 476 (heading toward Plymouth Meeting) to Exit 9 (Broomall/Rt. 3). Turn right on Rt. 3 and get in the left lane. At the second light, turn left on to Lawrence Road and get in the right lane. Turn left at the second road (Ellis Road). Stay on Ellis Road until you see the parking lot to the West Course on the left.

West Course From The Philadelphia Airport - Take I-95 South to Route 476. Bear right on Route 476, heading to Plymouth Meeting. Then follow directions (A) or (B) above.

West Course From Center City Philadelphia - Take Route 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) to City Line Avenue (Route 1). Left exit on expressway brings you to a traffic light. Turn right (South) on City Line Avenue and proceed about 3.3 miles to Haverford Road. Turn right on Haverford Road and go about 2.7 miles to Ardmore Avenue. Turn left o Ardmore Avenue. You will then see the East Course of Merion Golf Club on both sides of Ardmore Avenue. Proceed straight and cross over Darby Road. Continue straight for ¼ mile and make a right on Ellis Road. The West Course Parking lot is immediately on your left.
